[Resolved] ODBC Connection issues with newer Tableau Desktop versions

Thanks to Tableau and DV working closely together, we now have a quick fix for the issues with DV ODBC and newer Tableau versions (https://support.datavirtuality.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360038669331-ODBC-Connection-issues-with-newer-Tableau-Desktop-versions)

In order to not have to use the workaround described in the above post, please follow these steps on Windows:

1. Open the ODBC Data Source Administrator on Windows
2. Double click on your DV Data Source
3. Click the Datasource button
4. Completely remove the entry "dd_;" from SysTablePrefixes
5. OK and Save

With these steps, it should not be necessary to use the above workaround. We will make this setting a default for our future ODBC drivers.
