Translator tool for SQL Server --> Data Virtuality SQL
Since Data Virtuality can easily translate DV SQL to SQL Server language, it would be extremely valuable to use a SQL Server translator to Data Virtuality SQL in order to 100x speed up migrations of large code bases to Data Virtuality.
It does not even need to be 100% accurate. If it's only 90% accurate, it would be of great help!

Hi Lorenz,
I am happy to announce that the beta version of our SQL Translator is now available for public testing. The
Translator is running on OpenAI's platform and can be found here:
https://chat.openai.com/g/g-ghM8TWCPI-sql-translator-betaAs this is pretty much still a work in progress, mistakes are expected and the quality of answers varies. However, the AI is capable of correcting itself if you point out mistakes or even simply copy/paste the error message from running a failing command in DV.
We are continuing to improve and update the Translator and would greatly appreciate your feedback as well as the concrete examples of incorrectly translated queries.

Hi Lorenz,
thanks for posting your request on our Community.
At the moment we didn't receive similar requests from other users but we find it very interesting and we added your valuable feedback to our customer wishlist.
We will keep it in our backlog for now but our customers have the possibility to influence our Roadmap in the future by voting the feature requests on the community.

Hi Lorenz,
I want to give you a quick update about your feature request.
We are currently training an AI-based assistant for translating different SQL dialects into DV's SQL, including the procedural part of the dialect, and we plan to provide a beta version to our customers for testing early next year.
I will keep you updated here as soon as there is any news.
Best
Salvatore
